About Zoe Adams
I run a café near the seafront in Brighton, and cleaning it every day with harsh sprays used to give me proper headaches. So I switched to vinegar, bicarb and soap, and never went back. Here I write about the low-waste household, natural cleaning, refills and laundry, all tested on real café messes, from oat flat whites across the banquette to whatever the brunch rush leaves behind. I count the plastic saved, obviously; it's on a chalkboard behind the counter. I live in Hanover with my partner Sam and Pickle, our rescue greyhound, who sleeps under the counter on quiet days. Right. Don't bin your old products to go low-waste, use them up first. No need for a clean sweep. Sorry.
