A retired bookkeeper learning tablets and video calls step by step, so nobody has to feel silly alone.
Über Patricia Owens
I'm Patricia, a retired bookkeeper from Cleveland. I kept the books for a family hardware store for forty years, from paper ledgers to desktop software, and I still only got my first tablet last year so I could video call my grandchildren, Grace and Eli. Goodness, the learning curve. I spent one whole call showing Eli my ceiling fan... Now I prop the tablet against the sugar bowl. Here I write about tablets, simple setups, cases and stands, and whatever finally made a setting make sense to me. I explain things step by step, the way I wish someone had explained them to me, with any tricky word spelled out (an "app" is just a program, bless). These days I help folks at church set up their devices, mostly by learning right alongside them. If I can do it, you can too!
