Julia Mossについて

I taught high school English in Charlotte for fourteen years before I bought a struggling independent bookshop in downtown Asheville in 2012, and I have kept it open since, through lean years and a pandemic, mostly by doing the one thing a bookseller is for, which is to hand-sell the right book to a stranger who walked in asking for something like the weather. Here I write about fiction, usually three books at a time, chosen for a particular reader or a particular mood, along with reading nooks, lamps and book gifts, which I believe should always arrive with a note explaining why. I live in an old farmhouse west of town with my husband Tom, who builds banjos in the workshop out back, and far too many shelves; Marlowe, our elderly shop cat, keeps the poetry section warm.
