I'm Jordan, a product manager in Los Angeles leading a team that builds a travel app, which is why I carry three phones and why airport security looks at me like a movie spy. I started in QA, so I tend to notice what's broken before what's shiny. Here I compare phones and cases on real-world use rather than the spec sheet — hikes in Griffith Park, street food runs, long days of testing. Expect the hidden setting that fixes the thing you were about to replace the phone over: most battery complaints, to be fair, live in settings. I think years of software updates matter more than any camera spec, and a slim case you keep on beats a rugged one you don't. My partner Sam calls the cable drawer a museum; I call it inventory.
