À propos de Ethan Wu

Spec sheet says one thing; my bench usually says another. I'm a hardware QA tester in San Jose, and for five years my job has been breaking earbuds and chargers on purpose: battery runs, drop tests, hinge cycles. Here I write about audio, earbuds, chargers and battery life, with numbers, units and test conditions included, plus what broke first. Usually the hinge or the charging contacts, not the electronics. Expect like-with-like comparisons and the occasional hot take. I live in North San Jose with a college friend, a modular synth rack and one surviving pothos (it has no USB port, so honestly its odds were bad). I carry a USB power meter on my keychain. Yes, I've measured the keychain.
