Audiobooks and fiction for the ear, from a narrator who reads novels aloud in a closet booth in Spokane.
Acerca de Tanya Ivers
I'm Tanya, an audiobook narrator in Spokane. I studied theatre, acted in regional productions, and booked my first audiobook at 23 after a director heard me read at a community event. More than eighty titles later, I still record from a foam-lined closet booth in our South Hill bungalow. Here I recommend fiction that works for the ear: books for commutes, books for long drives, books that are pure comfort. I talk about voices, pacing and what makes a narration land. Does listening count as reading? Yes, full stop. You'll also get the occasional booth story, like Pip, our tuxedo cat, ruining a take by yowling outside the door. My fiancé Jordan is a park ranger, so hiking listens get plenty of testing too. Consider this a little nudge toward your next one!
